Nutrition Coaching FAQ

Is this only for people who want to lose weight?
Not at all. Shonda works with clients across a wide range of goals — fat loss, muscle building, athletic performance, energy management, improving relationship with food, and general wellness. Whatever your goal, the coaching is built around it.
Do I have to follow a specific diet or cut out foods I love?
No. Shonda's approach is built around sustainability, not restriction. You won't be handed a list of banned foods. The goal is to help you understand how to eat well within the life you actually have — including the foods you enjoy. Deprivation-based diets don't last. This does.
I already train at Duddy Performance. Does this work alongside my training?
Yes — and it works especially well. Shonda coordinates with the DP coaching team, so your nutrition plan is aligned with your training load, recovery needs, and performance goals. Nutrition and training amplify each other when they're working together.
Why is the first month more expensive than subsequent months?
The first month includes a comprehensive assessment and the time Shonda invests in fully understanding your history, habits, and goals before building your plan. That upfront work is what makes everything after it effective. Months two and beyond are reduced because the foundation is already in place.
Can I do nutrition coaching if I'm not a DP member?
Absolutely. Nutrition coaching with Shonda is available to anyone, whether or not you train at Duddy Performance. If you're local to Sudbury, in-person sessions are an option — and remote coaching works just as well for clients anywhere.
