Liza Duddy

Founder & Owner

Liza believes that strength training builds far more than physical fitness β€” it builds confidence, resilience, and self-belief. She has a special passion for helping women build confidence in the weight room and helping endurance athletes stay strong, healthy, and injury-resistant.

Her athletic background includes 17 marathon finishes (including the Boston Marathon), 2Γ— Boston qualifier, multiple ultramarathons, and podium finishes in 50-mile races.

As founder of Duddy Performance, she is proud to build a community centered around hard work, connection, and long-term growth β€” believing the best coaching goes beyond workouts and into lasting relationships.

Jen Karam

Jen brings energy, warmth, and relentless support to Duddy Performance. She leads our weekly run club (three seasons a year), is introducing Hyrox classes, and drives most of our community and client engagement β€” building deep, lasting relationships that keep members motivated and connected.

A lifelong mover who loves to lift heavy and work hard, Jen's coaching blends strength-focused programming with smart, scalable progressions. She's competed in CrossFit partner competitions and finished the CrossFit Open in 2018 and 2019, bringing that competitive, team-driven mindset to every session.

Jen also has a background teaching English in Nicaragua and has tackled the Appalachian Trail through the Smokies β€” experiences that shape her patient, encouraging coaching style. She'll help you move better, get stronger, and build confidence. And she'll probably become fast friends with your kids.

Mo Hamel

Mo brings contagious energy and a coach-first mindset to Duddy Performance. She loves motivating athletes of any age and helping them hit their goals. Based in Salem, MA, Mo writes our small-group programming, runs marketing and Instagram, and manages community engagement with a welcoming, no-nonsense style that keeps athletes accountable and excited.

A former Division II basketball player at Saint Anselm, Mo spent 20 years as a varsity head coach across CT and MA β€” including earning MIAA Division 1 South Coach of the Year in 2021 β€” and a dozen years coaching club basketball. She now travels the country competing in slow-pitch softball and brings that competitive experience to her coaching: strength, teamwork, and smart progression are core to her approach.

Off the court she's an avid traveler (she's hiked Machu Picchu) and loves building lasting relationships with athletes. Her coaching blends advanced movement and strength principles with sport-specific insight.

David Harding

David grew up inside a gym and a dojo β€” his father owned a training facility β€” so coaching and movement have always been part of who he is. After playing college football at Nichols, he spent time in the sales world before realizing his calling was back where he belongs: helping people move better, get stronger, and reach their goals.

He thrives working with driven athletes and anyone committed to consistent progress, believing that steady training improves not just the body but confidence, mindset, and daily performance. His approach is strength-forward with an emphasis on quality movement, individualized progressions, and building long-term habits.

David loves the community element of training and takes pride in creating programs that deliver measurable results while keeping athletes engaged and motivated. Outside the gym he enjoys team sports, staying active outdoors, and mentoring younger athletes.

Jenn Gray

Jenn believes fitness is about more than training β€” it's about finding the right people, the right environment, and a community that pushes you to grow. After her internship supervisor introduced her to Duddy Performance, she felt an instant connection and often says it felt like the stars aligned.

Jenn brings a creative energy to the gym both on and off the training floor. In addition to coaching, she designs much of Duddy Performance's merchandise, creates event flyers, and helps bring the gym's vision to life through branding and community events. Her coaching style is supportive, energetic, and focused on helping clients build confidence through movement and consistency.

Before joining Duddy Performance, Jenn coached at Orangetheory Fitness and Rumble Boxing, gaining experience across a wide range of clients and training styles. She stepped into the ring for her first amateur boxing match in 2025. Outside the gym, she loves animals, creative projects, and continuing to challenge herself both as an athlete and as a coach.

Yami Rojas

Yami is passionate about helping people discover what they're capable of through strength, movement, and consistent training. She finds the most fulfillment in helping athletes compete at a higher level while guiding everyday clients toward greater confidence, strength, and a more active lifestyle.

Her coaching style blends performance, accountability, and connection β€” with a focus on helping each client build habits that last both inside and outside the gym. Yami believes fitness should empower people not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.

Before joining Duddy Performance, Yami spent two seasons coaching NCAA Division III women's volleyball in Massachusetts, where she also served as an athletics diversity and inclusion designee. Outside the gym she's always drawn to adventure, whether that's hiking through the Grand Canyon or exploring the Superstition Mountains.

In addition to her work at Duddy Performance, Yami leads her own coaching platform, Body by Lift.

Dylan McNary

Dylan believes great coaching goes beyond one sport β€” it's about helping athletes build strength, confidence, and habits that translate both in competition and in life. As Duddy Performance's resident baseball specialist, he brings the perspective of both a high-level athlete and performance coach, with a style that emphasizes efficient, intentional training that develops strength, power, and athleticism while keeping athletes fresh and prepared to perform when it matters most.

Dylan graduated from Noble and Greenough School in 2018 before playing baseball at Villanova University and later the University of Maine. After college, he completed multiple strength and conditioning internships before earning a full-time role as Head of Athletic Development at 5 Tool Performance.

He is passionate about helping athletes maximize their potential β€” both in the weight room and on the field.

Emily Bessette

Emily believes fitness should challenge you, ground you, and support you through every stage of life. Athletics and training have always been a major part of who she is β€” not only from a competitive standpoint, but as a foundation for physical health, mental resilience, and overall balance. She joined Duddy Performance with the goal of helping others make fitness a lasting part of their lives.

Emily brings both an athlete's mindset and a coach's perspective to every session. She loves helping clients push past what they thought was possible, build confidence through strength, and find enjoyment in the process along the way.

Her athletic background includes playing collegiate lacrosse at Johns Hopkins University, along with taking on a wide range of physical challenges β€” from marathons and CrossFit competitions to obstacle course racing, bodybuilding, and most recently, rucking.
